Howdy!

Hey ya'll! I've been in such a homework rut and my poor blog has been neglected. Keep an eye out for a couple of guest posts I have scheduled.

Anywho, I'd like to take a second to tell you about my other blog. It's called "The Incredible Shrinking Elyse" and it's all about my weightloss journey. Today, my sorority sister and dear friend, Karen, has taken the time to write an inspiring post about her weight loss journey over there. You can view it here...

Thanks for being patient with me and my lack of updates lately. I hope ya'll are have an fantabulous Tuesday.

PS: Since I'm wearing a Beatles tshirt today, I feel like I should share some Beatles love with ya'll.

With a little help from my friends...

Just a shout out to all my lovely friends. I would be nothing without you. Thank you for listening to me whine and complain and making sure that my frown gets turned upside down. Therefore, I dedicate this song to you...

PS: Happy Birthday John Lennon. You blessed the earth with your presence for too short of time, but what little time you had was surely epic.

Vintage Vinyl

So I've been doing some exploring in St Louis and I've been looking for that perfect little spot that has all the cool thrift stores and restaurants. Well, I've found that spot and it's called The Loop. I went later at night with some friends, yes I have friends! Aren't you shocked??? Anywho, I went later at night on Saturday and all the shops were closed except for one...Vintage Vinyl. Vintage Vinyl reminds me a bit of Empire Records(If you haven't seen that movie, go get it!), it's opened until midnight and it's got a great selection of vinyl. I decided to go with this gem...

It's back when The Beatles weren't the Fab Four, but rather the Fab Five. It's back when they first got started and Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best were in the band. Eventually they got rid of those two and added Ringo and became one of the best groups of all time. Anywho, I just thought I'd show off my find. I'm pretty proud of it.
