I'll Always Love You

Hey ya'll. I'm coming out of a school induced hiatus to share some sad news.

On Friday, my sweet puppy, Patches, had to be put down. My baby lived a good long life. I was blessed to have him for almost 16 years. If you're not an animal person, I don't expect you to understand, but this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with. I feel like my heart has been ripped into two. I keep replaying this book in my head over and over, thinking about how true it truly is.

I love you Patches and I always will. I never knew how much a little furry creature could touch my heart. I'll never forget you.

Hey Ya'll...

So I've written this post two times and somehow it keeps getting deleted from my page. Here's hoping the 3rd time is the charm.

I just wanted to give an explanation as to my absence the past week or so. I think this will sum it up...

Elyse's Month By The Numbers

3 classes

5 books to read

5 weekly response to write

5 huge papers to write including 1 research paper

1 presentation

1 stressed out me

Please pray for me this next month. I'm already having a hard time staying sane and we're barely into the month. I can't wait to have some free time on my hands because I miss ya'll. If you want to do a guest post just email me at elysiepiecie at gmail dot com. Oh and PS I've got a tumblr now :) http://elysiepiecie.tumblr.com

Until Next Time...

Day 15

Day 15 - A Picture of something You want to do before You Die

This is a tough one, because there are a million and one things I want to do before I die. But this might be one of the biggest ones...

I'm independent, stubborn, and love being on my own, but I cannot wait to find that special person that I'll spend the rest of my life with. So, I think sharing my heart with someone definitely is towards the top of my list.

Fill in the blank Friday!

It's been a while since I've played along and I've really missed it. This Friday is a little bittersweet because it marks the end of Spring Break and my time back at home. But on the up side it is the beginning of April and there is barely a month left of school! Wooo hooo!

1. The best prank I ever pulled was oh goodness...I'm so horrible at pranks. The other day though, I did manage to put five french fries and a sweet n' low in the back of my bestie Lauren's hoodie. It was great. One even fell out and I managed to convince her it had fallen from the ceiling where I had been throwing them before. I think it's sad that people would think I'd actually do something like that...hehe.

2. The best prank ever pulled on me was nothing. I don't think anyone has ever really pulled a prank on me. Haha, that just means I'm asking for it.

3. A day without a good attitude is a day wasted. This seems like a cheesy answer, but I don't like it when I waste a day being in a foul mood.

4. The most important things in life are free. Seriously. Family and friends don't cost a dime and they're the people I couldn't survive without.

5. I dream of one day of getting married and having a family. It'll happen some day, eventually...right?

6. I dread waking up when I don't have enough sleep. I also dread failure. And the idea that I'm not liked by people.

7. A discovery I made this week was that the Margaret Mitchell House museum is technically not a house, but an apartment building. She lived on the bottom floor in a teenie apartment. It should be called the Margaret Mitchell apartment building.

I hope ya'll have an amazing, fun filled Friday! If you want to play along, make sure you link up with Lauren's blog :)
